About the Artist

Amy Hus, aka Dragonmelde, is currently a student at the University of West Florida, pursuing a BA in both Art and English.  She has been drawing fantasy characters for as long as she could hold a crayon, with influences including the cartoons from her childhood, the covers of the fantasy novels she can never put down, alternative fashion, Renaissance faires, and the art of Central/South American native cultures.  She specializes in traditional media, loving to get her hands dirty in paints and ink.  In her down time, she enjoys playing with her cat, going to conventions, and getting lost in her imagination.
